For over 35 years, the Al Rivera Menudo Run 5K/10K has reached athletes, novices, family, friends, and community members. This event begins on a beautiful August morning at Whittier Narrows "Legg Lake" Park.

As you warm up for the event, you can hear music and laughter while you smell delicious menudo.  The starting horn blows and you begin your run with over 600 runners though the scenic lake side dirt trail.  Birds, squirrel and ducks are a few friends you meet along the way.  When you reach the finish line, cheers from the Girl Scounts are received and that is just the beginning!

Menudo, Medal Ceremony and Craft Beer from a local brewery is free to all paid registrants.  Be a part of history.

There is always confusion with locating check-in. PLEASE follow the blue and yellow flags. This year it should be much easier to identify where to go. Should you park in the North or South parking lot we will have signage up and colored flags to lead you to where you need to be.

Thank you for your continued support!

3rd Annual Beer Garden

Wristband with 6 drink tickets for a tasting of a variety of beers. Maybe your not a runner but want to support your family and friends who are! The ticket will be a $15 suggested donation and allow you to sample pours from local craft breweries and other vendors to be announced.
